Maurice Fares
Vice President
Maurice Fares’ passion for real estate and development started at a young age. Growing up in a successful real estate and development family business, and being surrounded by construction, project management, and planning, he quickly learned the ins and outs of the industry. In his capacity as Vice President, Maurice leads the operations at W. M. Fares Group including finance, construction, property management, business development, and marketing. He is a strong advocate for Family Business sitting on various discussion panels at both local and national Family Business conferences. Maurice believes that young professionals should be engaged in the future development of Nova Scotia’s landscape. He sees the opportunity and has the vision to take Nova Scotia to the next level in real estate development.
Zana Fares-Choueiri
VP Construction
Zana represents a new, modern wave of youth in the industry. In a field that has seen male domination for many years, Zana is quickly changing these trends on a daily bases with her quick, elegant, and hungry for perfection personality. Zana brings a great deal of technical knowledge to WM Fares Group, as well as patience and organization skills. If it’s not efficiently perfect, then it is not good enough for Zana, which in turn, has made Zana a well-respected face amongst engineers, architects, lawyers and contractors around HRM.
Cesar Saleh
VP Planning & Design
Upon graduation, Cesar joined W. M. Fares Group as a junior engineer; he grew with the company helping bring it to the level of success that it enjoys today, and currently heads Planning and Design, one of the company’s main divisions. Cesar is highly experienced in all facets of land development. His planning and management skills; expertise in policy, land use bylaws, codes and regulations; in addition to his conflict resolution and negotiation skills, and ability to see the "bigger picture”, are put to the test day in and day out. He has taken the lead on high profile and complex projects such as The Trillium, Icon Bay, and Rockingham South, helping his clients realize the potential of their assets.
Cesar takes great pride in his work ethics. His honesty, transparency, and professionalism is something that his clients quickly relate to.
Darren Rodgers
CFO
Darren Rodgers is the CFO at WM Fares Group and is responsible for overseeing the accounting and all financial reporting within our organization.
Darren joined WM Fares Group in 2007, and is a graduate with a B.Comm, and he is currently working on his CGA designation. Darren’s goal with WM Fares Group is to create economic growth, through creative thinking and efficient resource management.
Rhonda Ritcey
VP Administration
Rhonda Ritcey is the V.P. of Administration at WM Fares Group and is responsible for ensuring that the office and day to day operations run efficiently.
Rhonda joined WM Fares Group in 1996, and is a graduate of the Nova Scotia Community College with a concentration in Accounting. Rhonda’s goal with WM Fares Group is to ensure that the office runs smoothly and all staff issues are addressed, as well as contribute in any way she can to the continued success of WM Fares Group.
