In 1983 Wadih Fares, P.Eng founded WM Fares & Associates. Wadih believes there is a fundamental principle that applies across every industry: customers crave simplicity. The easier, more comfortable and more convenient you can make an experience for your customer, the better. WM Fares & Associates was founded on a different business model. A model that brought all of the disciplines involved in a development project together under one roof to form a full building design and construction project management team.

By sharing information, knowledge and resources and combining complementary skills WM Fares & Associates could not only offer one-stop solutions for clients but solutions that are more creative and cost effective.

This philosophy sets us apart, and over the past 23 years has put us at the forefront of some of the most innovative hospitality, residential and commercial design, development and construction projects in the Halifax Regional Municipality and beyond.

In 2006, WM Fares & Associates and Miller Architects joined forces to form Fares Miller Architects and Engineers, the design and engineering arm of WM Fares Group Ltd., which in turn added to our full-service model.

Whether our clients are first time developers or experienced builders who only require some of our services, they all benefit from our multi-faceted experience in the entire building process. Starting from assessing a piece of land to see if it meets a client’s vision right up to final occupancy, we’ve built our reputation on being able to provide our clients with everything they require to make their building process a success.
